Boksburg is a city on the East Rand of Gauteng province of South Africa, located about 20 minutes from the Johannesburg CBD.

Boksburg is part of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, which forms the local government of the East Rand and is one of the fastest growing urban areas of the East Rand. The area is conveniently positioned between the N12 and N17 highways. Regular commuter trains link Boksburg with all the major centres in the East Rand and Greater Johannesburg area. The OR Tambo International Airport is literally minutes away via the R21 road route.
